Virtual Global Slag Seminar
#globalslag
Due to the postponement of the real-world Global Slag Conference from 2020 due to Covid, the organisers of the conference staged three Virtual Global Slag Seminars in May and November 2020, and in June 2021, and the Global Slag LIVE event on 18 January 2022. The virtual conferences allowed all attendees to maximise their profits from slag - both ferrous and non-ferrous, keeping them up-to-date with the industry state-of-the-art for both producers and users of slag and slag-based products.

1st Virtual Global Slag Seminar
6 May 2020
Quote of the Day on the 1st Virtual Global Slag Seminar (6 May 2020): "Excellent way to overcome time at the moment, but I am sure it will stay only for a short time until the world recovers. It will become a niche model again. That does not apply to internal meetings or internal conferences, of course, which will become now increasingly practical. But especially for sales you need a personal contact - webmeetings cannot replace that." Virtual Global Slag Seminar participant 2020
